    Default Grammar Songs?

    Anyone use this?

How do you use this resource? Do I need the workbook that goes with it? (sold at RR)

We do copywork and have recently started dictation for our grammar studies, but I feel like I'm always needing to remind them of basic parts of speech, even to discuss their writing. I don't want to do a formal grammar study right now. We used FLL 1-2 a while back, but they don't really remember anything.

We have the DVD. Grammar Ace uses it as part of their program. I can't recommend Grammar Ace, but we love Schoolhouse Rock.

Thanks for the Schoolhouse rock recommendations!

Laura, why would you not recommend Grammar Ace?

I don't think it does a good job of reviewing concepts or explaining grammar in depth. It would be fine to review or reinforce grammar, but it's not my first choice. I remember having problems with some part of the TM as well. We did stick it out for a year, but I sold my TM.
