Whew! We finally finished school today!

    Everyone is eating a snack.

Then, I will tackle the main living areas before cooking dinner.

Cari- I guess no one would ever have a full class if everyone stayed home all the time. However, that's how the flu spreads when it hits the world. So...not really a fan of that policy no matter how old the kids are. It's not like adults don't spread germs. But, that's a dance teacher philosophy for you. Their world is THE most important of all the worlds. Trust me...I'm familiar at many levels. I hope your crew feels better quickly and that no one else gets it.

Paige- Yes, next week is the last week of co-op and I have to go early to set up for co-op night. We are all doing extra jobs we wouldn't normally have done as teachers because we have so few families participating. Everyone is teaching and doing the jobs. Mine is set up for co-op night. Then that evening we'll have co-op night to show off the classes the kids took. I'm not sure there will be any performances this semester, but we will have tables with displays set up. I have to make my class display. We started in late September and next week is the last and we had a week off in there. It's an 8 week semester (down from 10).

AR- I hope you can find places for the extra furniture you took. Great job on finishing school!

    Michelle
    - That's quite an oven set up! Did the new one fit?

    Since earlier:
    • ate
    • packed my bag for co-op
    • printed maps
    • grabbed a deck of cards
    • picked up dh- so he could drop us at co-op
    • taught Verne class- mapped his route around the world and talked about how fast he could do it today under varying methods. Hopefully someone does the homework. Explained how to play Whist with R, but we didn't have time to play.
    • recess- it was cold.
    • cats class- lots of corralling toward the end of class. I'm a helper only.
    • dropped Dan back at work

Now we are here until we head over to the mall to help sell department store booklets as a fundraiser. They are there from 4-6, so I think we'll head over in an hour and do the last half. No one wants to, but at least some of us should.

In the meantime, I will get my bearings and see what else I need to do today. I left the assignment of washing dishes and that was not done.

I never even wrote down my to do list in my book this morning or last night. Maybe, I'll start there!

We got some school done this afternoon and MY involvement in the IEW paper is done. Ahem. But if he will re-read his instructions carefully he should be able to do what he needs to do when he decides to do it.

I tidied under the kitchen sink, cleaned the hall bathroom, tidied the back bench area, and worked for 15 minutes on the pantry.

Next up will be getting dinner ready and the bills ready to mail when we head out to 4H. If we have time before we leave I'll start packing school, but otherwise I'll do that stuff when we get back tonight.

Popping back in to share a website with you all. It's called Taste of Lizzy T and I found it while looking for an IP recipe one time. But, it's a mother/daughter venture that started as a homeschool project. And it's pretty huge so that's fun.

    Update:
    • finished adding links to my 100 post- I added the homegrown in NY venues and a few pictures to go with them. Decided I want to do a better title image so I'll do that later tonight.
    • committed to have another post done for Wednesday- shouldn't be as big of a project
    • put an SD card in my Amazon cart- that is the first order of business for purchases. I don't like having the images off the camera card! I had memorized where everything was that I needed!
    • prepped some honey mustard chicken for dinner- and preheated the oven
    • got an acorn squash going in the IP
    • felt guilty- about not going out to the fundraiser Sigh.
    • texted dh about his departure time- I don't want to overcook the chicken so I'd like to know when I need to leave to get him.

Tonight I will need to work in PTE and make some school plans for this week. We have relatively little on the docket so I want to make things count.

    Good Evening!
So. much. rain. But I think we are finally done after a quick shower this morning. It stayed gloomy all day though and the temperature dropped steadily throughout the day. It's a bit chilly now. 46*F.

    It's been a good day.
    • email management and reading done
    • washed a load, hung some to dry in basement, dried the sweaters on low heat
    • morning and afternoon school with ds10 done well
    • tutoring at the center done; stayed to chat questions with another tutor so was home later than usual
    • made ds10 his on-the-road meal to eat on the way to choral practice... dh took him tonight
    • washed up cast iron skillet from a several nights ago ; rinsed a bunch of other stuff
    • tidied up the kitchen counters and stuck a couple sweet potatoes in the microwave
    • took out the kitchen trash to the bin

Week's Challenge: I need to work on Jesse's room, which means figure out what to do with the things Erica left behind. It's not much, but needs done.
Book Challenge: Other than what we used today, books are somewhat orderly, so that's good.

I need to work on school stuff, and then I'll save the tutor lesson for tomorrow morning. Or, I may do the opposite. I'm still debating.
I'll go get my sweet potato and think it over I guess.

Nearly 7:00 pm. We're home. Checked the throat at 5:00 pm and there were white spots. At best, tonsillitis. Based on past medical history, high probability of strep. Sigh. She's actually feeling better than she did, ironically, so I'm going to hold off and call the doctor in the morning. If they can't see her quickly enough, we'll head to urgent care. Same co-pay, and I like their PA as much as I do our own. And given Phoebe's usual tendency to do this on Saturday nights, we see them almost as much.

Really trying to get my act back together, but it isn't working all that well. I'm probably going to call it a night rather early and hope for a better day tomorrow. That's possible, right?

    So far today:

    • Up, dressed & out the door by 3:30 am.
    • Tried to answer emails & such on the way down.
    • Dropped Dave off at the train station. Unknown return.
    • Back home; really not sure how I made it.
    • Puttered around for about half an hour.
    • Back to bed; was able to sleep for about 4 hours.
    • Up, dressed again . Why did I wear makeup at 3:00 am?
    • Made bed, tidied bedroom & bathroom.
    • Put away accumulated pile of clothes from weekend.
    • Collected laundry & got a load started.
    • Refilled all my pill sorters for the week.
    • Fixed all the clocks TJ missed. There were lots.
    • Downstairs; assessed health statuses
    • Called MIL to see if she had my missing cup.
    • Checked email, FB, etc. Responded.
    • Put in support ticket for issue with LLR portal.
    • Started working on Young Living order.
    • Researched YMCA memberships/insurance rules.
    • Set up health insurance fitness account for Phoebe.
    • Sent out a few texts/emails/FB messages.
    • Emptied/reloaded dishwasher; tidied kitchen.
    • Had TJ bring up chicken to thaw for dinner.
    • Called YMCA about holiday specials.
    • Did a bit of back & forth LLR work. Much more to do.
    • Determined XFinity is having issues .
    • Texted BSF leader that I'm not coming.
    • Back out to the car to search for my missing cup
    • Advanced laundry; started second load (it's a BIG pile).
    • Had some fresh mango & I forget what else. Took meds.
    • Called dentist to reschedule. Appt. in two weeks.
    • Synchronized sales from weekend to computer.
    • Uploaded everything to a FB sale I wasn't planning to do.
    • Made the decision about dance; called studio.
    • TJ made lemon-garlic chicken & potatoes in the IP. Ate.

    Up next:

    • Back upstairs to swap out laundry again.
    • Clean up dinner mess; probably run dishwasher.
    • Check out under the sink. Not many issues. (FLM).
    • Pantry check (FLM). But I also have my own issues.
    • TJ & Phoebe might run to Dunkin for coffee (Eagles won!).
    • Need a couple of things from the store if they do.
    • Phoebe is going to try to take pictures of new inventory.
    • Do a count. Synchronize across devices/sites.
    • Send out a few LLR emails/FB messages. Mostly thank you's.
    • Maybe work on homework for bible study tomorrow night.
    • Do some organizing on phone & iPad. Apps are messed up.
    • Maybe hang out & watch something with Phoebe.
    • Make plan for tomorrow depending on everyone's health.
    • Downstairs tidy; up-down basket, etc.
    • Process completed laundry & all to put away.
    • Get Phoebe tucked into bed; wish I could now!
    • Spend a little time with TJ if he wants.
    • Go to bed. Probably. Time change + this morning =

I really don't know if that's in any way what will actually happen. Right now, everyone has gone to their separate corners to whimper.

    Chugging along slowly...

Paige -- our doctor's threshold for removing tonsils is more than two episodes in six months. She's never QUITE that frequent. It's been discussed. One of the problems has been that the last two times, we've ended up at urgent care because she likes to get sick on weekends. Sigh. Hoping to get her in at the regular doctor tomorrow, but I'm not going to wait until Wednesday or Thursday if they can't.

Really need to attack the kitchen. But Dave is on the phone, so that will derail things for a bit. Sigh.

    Good evening everyone!

We had a long weekend so I've been MIA on the decluttering boards. I definitely need to do some tidying. My dh is another challenge with friends. This time it's organizing. I need to start organizing my homeschool shelves and daughter's nightstand for our "after" pictures. I don't mind because I enjoy organizing. It's keeping it organized that is a bit harder! My books downstairs are organized. Our upstairs books are another story!

    Today:
*Up "early" for me @ 7 am... then I realized my body is just on the same pattern bc in Daylight Savings Time I always wake @ 8 am.
*General tidying before dd woke up... that never happens (me up before her) so this was huge!
    *Schooling done
*Went to run errands and my car battery died. At least we were home and not stranded anywhere and I have a brand new battery as of this evening. My mom came and saved the day so we were able to get our errands done.
    *Went to Target & Publix
*Fun pumpkin dissection and baked pie pumpkins
*Tried to relax more with new massage chair (birthday present last week!) and relaxing music from YouTube.
    *Organized and decluttered dd's vanity
*Watched several episodes of I Love Lucy with dd. She's almost 7 and just thinks Lucy is hysterical. We now say "Eww!" a lot.

That's my day in a brief, condensed bulleted section.
