Paige- I was going to suggest almond milk, but not sure if it has an overpowering taste. We use a lot of almond milk here. Three of us use it.

    Update:
    • kids have been working on the robot
    • a zebra mussel was painted for a prop
    • took pictures of the robot
    • gathered pictures from my phone and camera- and put them on a thumb drive to be printed (before tonight's meeting!)
    • loaded and had KP kid start the dishwasher
    • did algebra with the algebra kid
    • realized I missed the window for starting that roast! oops (need a new plan that is a FAST one)

Time is moving FAST today! I'm running out of time to do some necessary things. R is going to need to get dinner together most likely. Unless I come up with something different, but it has to be a eat and run.

I have a blog post due up today that isn't quite finished. Sewing class is happening right now.

Ok...I'm going to run. I'll check back in later on!

Another soup question -- those of you who make the chicken and wild rice soup, which rice do you buy? Any link to a picture? I ran to Publix, and they hardly had any wild rice I wound up buying a package that's a mix of wild rice and white rice with seasonings, and then a small box of wild rice for $4

Just got back from mandolin lessons and a quick stop at Publix.
Came home to eat lunch Leftovers.

    M. is feeling better -- I'm praying those antibiotics kick in big time! It's been 2 1/2 days. There should be a big difference already.
    B. says he's feeling a bit better. I'm just wondering if he didn't snack on too much Chuy's dip last night (that has sour cream). Hmmmmm??? He says his stomach feels different than it does when it's a milk issue.

Pulled chicken out of the freezer for the soup.
Going to get that going before long.
I'll probably read to Ben -- that'll count for something, right?

Hmmm.... almost 3:00 pm already (when I started typing, it was "almost 2:30 pm). Trying to figure out where the day went. Been doing a lot of squirreling, I think . And I'm still a bit tired -- drowsy, actually. I'd love to go take a nap. Haven't ruled it out. But I'd really like to squeeze a bit more productivity out of the day if I can.

    So far today:

    • Up, showered, dressed, etc. Still sleepy.
    • Made bed; tidied bedroom & bathroom.
    • Collected laundry. Not enough for a load.
    • Put away a pile of clothes in my own room.
    • Sweep of the downstairs; collected dishes.
    • Loaded the dishwasher. All else looks good.
    • Made coffee; going to be a multi-cup day again.
    • Had my quiet time; tried to catch up BSF.
    • Checked texts, emails, FB, etc. Returned some.
    • Fixed some uploading glitches for tonight's FB party.
    • Discussed day's plans with Phoebe.
    • Though about waking TJ, but decided not.
    • Danielle texted me requesting info; texted her back.
    • Got something to eat. Need to work on the healthy thing.
    • TJ woke up voluntarily, although grumpily.
    • Went to church & picked up my car. It was cold out.
    • Stopped at car wash on the way home. What a mess!
    • Got everyone back to focusing on school. Sort of.
    • Prepped a bunch of packages for mailing.
    • Headed the post office with my pile (too many for the box).
    • Stopped at consignment shop & grocery store.
    • Started doing customer correspondence; got lost on FB.
    • Discussed dinner plans with children just eating lunch.

    Up next:

    • Customer correspondence. Follow up on purchases!
    • Go through to-do & filing folders. Filing.
    • Work on organizing inventory photos. Quite messy!
    • Do some research on the cloud and how it works.
    • Check schoolwork status; check any work that needs it.
    • Call health insurance to see if I can appeal claim.
    • Work on budget. That's going to be fun. Not.
    • Early dinner. Yesterday's cheeseburger macaroni.
    • Clean up dinner; probably run dishwasher.
    • Pack up things to do during dance class.
    • Take Phoebe to dance; try to be productive.
    • Back home; regroup and see what's left to do.
    • Probably going to have some FB responding to do.
    • Upload inventory into another FB sals.
    • Downstairs tidy; process up-down basket.
    • Get Phoebe tucked into bed on a timely basis.
    • Final check of any essentials.
    • Tea, prayer time & bed. Wish I could go there now!

I'm thinking the between now & dinner tasks are going to need some rearranging. I can't imagine actually getting to everything, but I guess it's possible. Don't need to leave for dance until 7:15 pm. So I guess dinner could be pretty late given no one is going to be hungry any time soon.

Paige, I've always used the Uncle Ben's rice in a box.

    This day is flying!
    *did some school
    *booked rooms for our trip
*got dinner in the crock pot
    *wiped down cabinets
*helped dd make some fairy things
    *showered
*booked rooms for the kittens while we're gone
*talked to some venues about a place for dh's work party--waiting for a call back so I can book

Now we need to go in about an hour and neither kid has showered!

    Update:
    • ran to the bank for deposits
    • got pictures printed
    • made sure van was packed
    • gave instructions for making dinner
    • had some first floor things put away
    • started cleaning the hall shower- spray foam serious cleaner. Step 1 is in process.
    • made a list for while I'm at the mall- double sided tape is at the top.

It's time to get moving to the mall.

    See you later this evening!

    Good Evening Ladies,

I thought I posted today, but I guess it was just on yesterday's thread.

    so far today:
2 loads of laundry, but I still need to fold/put away.
    morning time /school
    lunch
JoAnn's to look for something they didn't have; then I forgot the other thing I needed. **

Target to pick up a couple of things and to get baskets for the coffee cart at church. Only my Target only had a couple of sizes in each of their storage basket lines so I spent way too much time pondering if I could combine lines only to leave without buying anything. blerg.

    gas station

home - made a salad to take

Friends invited us over to dinner which is super-fun. They bought a house in the new neighborhood down the street.

9:00 pm. Once again, I'm left with a sense of how did that happen? And I've even been HOME almost the entire day . Phoebe didn't go to dance -- she's feeling better, but due to my little mix-up last night, she didn't have 24 hours on antibiotics. Not even 12 hours, actually. So yeah. And TJ opted not to go to youth group, which tells me he isn't feeling all that great either.

Dave called a little while ago and he'll be home tomorrow. Am I horrible for having mixed feelings about that? I mean I want HIM back. But I had so much I wanted to get done before he got back and that's all out the window now. Sigh.

    • Went through to-do & filing folders. Still didn't file.
    • Reorganized all but holiday leggings photos. Stopped caring.
    • Checked schoolwork status; not much is getting done .
    • TJ made dinner. Yesterday's cheeseburger macaroni.
    • Uploaded inventory into another FB sale; Phoebe is double-checking.

Hi ladies! I'll have to post more in the mornings my time now that most of you in American have had daylight savings time. Today dh and I seem to have a bit of a tummy thing on top of our colds, which has my heart acting up. Sheesh! I really wanted to do some housework today. That's probably not going to happen. Instead I've been doing more sit down kind of work. So far today:

-raced around getting the kids out the door. The alarm didn't go off this morning.
    -drove older kids to school
    -responded to several e-mails
-reset passwords on my 3 Skype accounts. I think we have 3 accounts because we couldn't remember the log ins so we just made new ones. Goodness! This password thing these days is getting tricky. Too many accounts need complicated passwords and then there are the ones you have to keep changing. 21st century problems!
-talked with dh about upcoming church events
-made a Facebook page for an upcoming church event
-responded to an e-mail from a potential intern
-wrote a couple of other e-mails

    Still to do
    -school with Hudson
-laundry. DD is out of clean pants. Laundry must happen, sick or not.
-pick up kids from school? Dh might have to do this if I am not up to driving
    -practice piano

Paige, I love wild rice! I've got it before at Trader Joes, but I don't know if there is one near you. If you can't find it, you might try brown rice. It's not the same flavor, but I've made a chicken and brown rice soup that turned out pretty tasty.

Heather, Ticket to Ride has a Switzerland version? We have the original, Europe and Asia. Maybe I'll play a game with Hudson today!

Angela, I miss shopping at Target! I also tend to spend way too much time making up my mind when shopping there!

Cari, I hope your dd feels better soon!
