    Default Friday DECLUTTERING!

This Week's Challenge: Bedrooms! Vacuum, dust, hoe out, wash bedding, organize, etc. This challenge is for all bedrooms including the master bedroom.

School Challenge: Tidy up from this week of school.

Inspiring Thought: Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

    For me today:
    • school
    • art- hopefully. I'd like to do a watercolor today and the site is down...
    • school planning
    • change my front door wreath
    • laundry
    • call my dad
    • group emails
    • blog work- work in dh's suggestions plus more including an actual blog post
    • walk
    • upload yearbook pictures- ugh
    • fashion show- 5:30 for R (doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 6:30)
    • text other stylist- and cancel appts

That ought to do it for today.

Ok...I'm turned around because Dan took his bike to work today! I'm going to have to get readjusted to being home all morning without running him to work because if it's a decent day, he's riding in. He was all smiles this morning.

The fashion show is tonight. We already know R did not win anything...but she learned last night at rehearsal that there will be another curated library show. Maybe she'll get another invitation to be on display. That would be pretty cool!

    Have a fun Friday!

    Good morning!

I need to get to some art, too! We're in the final week of sewing madness so I'm hoping that can happen soon!

Today we will be out much of the day.
    *laundry--done
    *our sheets--drying now
*Fashion Revue meeting--I think...I haven't gotten any confirmation about this.
    *skating
    *sewing
    *library??--If holds come in.

And maybe the store...we'll see. It's supposed to be stormy much of the day and I don't know if I want to deal with that!

Have a great day today, friends!

Happy 20th your oldest boy, Michelle!

Well, I talked to my dad a bit ago. Whew. They just did their taxes and were still mad about that. But, I got to talk with them.

    Trying to recalibrate....

    Good Morning Ladies!

I was so tired last night!
Dan came home early and I took Ashlyn to dance. While she was at dance, I went to the grocery store, came home and put away groceries, and then we all went back to pick her up.
After dance, we went to Five Guys for dinner per Ashlyn's request. We even got a couple of milkshakes to share, which we had never tried before (because who has room for a milkshake after eating 5 Guys?!)

By the time we got home, guys were already showing up for "Walking Wise" in our garage.
I helped Ashlyn call Dan's mom back, Dan's grandma, and Dan's brother - all wishing her Happy Birthday etc.
Then, I read to the kids and put them to bed.

After that, I fell asleep fully-clothed on our bed, woke myself up to change and let out the dog and went back to sleep!

HW - Enjoy your nice weather and the good haircut!
I hope the show is still enjoyable even though R didn't win anything.

Jen - Have a great Friday!

    goals for the day:
    school - started
    laundry - started
clean up from the school week
    general cleaning
    early dinner

We have a 6pm softball game, but Hannah needs to be there at 5:30.

    Have a great day ladies!

Good morning! It has been a CRAZY week here (even for me). The fact that co-op is seeming like a relaxing day should tell you something . Actually, the weather is darn near perfect and we moved the literature class I monitor outside, so I'm sitting in sunshine just soaking up fresh air. It's supposed to be highs in the upper 70s and sunny for the next two days. Then we switch back to rainy and 50s. But I'll enjoy it while I can.

    So far today:

    • Up, showered, dressed & ready for the day.
    • Tidied bathroom; bed still occupied .
    • Emptied dishwasher while coffee was brewing.
    • Quiet time; I'm actually caught up!
    • Checked email, texts, FB, etc. Mostly quiet.
    • Packed up everything for co-op for the day.
    • Shipped out a purchase from last night.
    • Quick stop at Dunkin for Phoebe's coffee.
    • Hallway duty, and now lit class. Pretty low energy.
    • Worked on Lula stuff on the computer.
    • Checked if Dave's expense check was deposited. It was.

    Up next:

    • Lunch, then monitor an art history class.
    • Continue working on Lula work on the computer.
    • Text TJ a shopping list for market.
    • Back home; unpack & put everything away.
    • Clean up whatever mess Dave left in the kitchen.
    • Upstairs; do a quick tidy, maybe change.
    • Put away groceries when TJ gets home.
    • TJ & Phoebe are heading to a youth group activity.
    • Pick up Dave's Rx at Target; return to AC Moore.
    • Meet a friend for dinner; hang out
    • Back home; downstairs tidy & get Phoebe to bed.
    • Hang out with TJ. Bedtime routine for me.
    • Probably Lula work in there somewhere.

And that's that. Pretty chilled out day for me, huh? My quiet time today was about being still and quiet so that we can actually hear God speak, and leaving space in our lives for Him to act. Ouch! I think that's that whole margin thing. Not my strong suit.

    So far:
    • made a lunch
    • talked with my dad
    • chose an art project
    • got math started
    • greeted the neighbors who came for water- they are having repairs and their water is off and they didn't plan for it (wasn't communicated to them)
    • washed the stove drip pans
    • cleaned the backsplash and all the appliance fronts- one more to do
    • swept the kitchen floor
    • cleaned the sink faucet and around the back of the sink to shine
    • started art lesson- we are letting the first layer dry and having lunch
    • laundry was started- and switched

Hopefully we'll get this project finished in the next while.

R still wants black boots to match her dress for tonight. Hmm...I guess I'll take her over to the mall. But, I have to leave time to make sure I can make dinner before the show tonight.

    Since last time:

    • gas in car
    • picked up cake & chips
    • cooked lunch while talking on phone to a friend
    • ds2 mowed field and hard
    • vacuumed
    • meat into freezer
    • pulled bbq from back freezer to front freezer
    • spot cleaned living room carpet

And I am being nosy The tree trimming service has been on our street for a few days. It is like they are randomly trimming trees. I thought they were getting them out of power lines but aren't working straight down the street.
