    Good Evening, Ladies!

I'm home from the tutoring center and just finished eating my supper while reading here today.
I have a third tutoring student that started today for the rest of the spring session. His regular tutor is having open heart surgery on Wed so needed others to pick up her students. I have one and another training tutor has the other. Thankfully there's only 3 weeks left, so hopefully it won't be too much. I needed the extra hours toward my 100 hours, so I'm sucking it up.

Paige-- I hope your MIL is going to be OK.

HeatherW-- good call "employing" the graduate to do some writing for you.

It's 35*F with a wind chill of 22*F. Winter just keeps hanging on. We could be getting some hit or miss snow, just a coating to an inch. The only blessing of it still being "winter" is I don't have to fight spring fever and wanting to be outside all the time.

Jesse is at choral practice and won't be home until close to 9pm. He has musicianship class, then his regular choir practice, then boyz choir after that. The boyz choir is an ensemble that's joining up with another small ensemble and they are doing "This Is Me" from the Greatest Showman. It should be great!

I think I told you all that DdApril sings with the Grand Rapids Symphony Choir? Well, the symphony was invited to Carnegie Hall, and the director wanted the choir to go along too. The symphony is paying for the trip! So April will be singing at Carnegie Hall this weekend! I'm so excited for her. Erica is heading to NJ with a friend and staying with her cousin, and they'll take the train from there into the city. I'm jealous. I really wanted to go but swinging the time and extra cash wasn't gonna happen. They will have a great time. April gets one day free, so they are going to The Met. My museum loving girls are very excited.

Gotta get off and get my work out. If I stay here too long I won't want to work on my lessons.
    Have a great evening!
Wife to Pastor Tim and Mom to April (graduate), Erica (graduate), Jacob (graduate), and Jesse (4th gr).

Well, the day is winding down already and I'm still not exactly sure how THAT happened . Not sure if it's good or bad that I started said day from 12:00 am -- 3:00 am, then resumed at 8:00 am (give or take the 6:50 am "special weather alert" on my phone ). But Dave just took Phoebe to dance, so it's just me & TJ and QUIET for the next two hours!!!

    So far today:

    • Finished the lesson for our ladies' bible study tomorrow.
    • Signed up to register Phoebe for next year's dance classes.
    • Did a bunch of Lula Facebook work; people were still up!
    • Cleaned out my purse; it was a bit of a disaster.
    • Tracked down missing car keys from various locations.
    • Caught up reading some other online things I was behind on.
    • Back to sleep for a couple of hours. Sort of.
    • Up, showered, dressed and more or less ready for the day.
    • Made bed, tidied bedroom & bathroom, put away stuff.
    • Advanced yesterday's laundry, which put me ahead.
    • Coffee & quiet time, interrupted too many times to really be quiet.
    • Packed up to head out for the morning. In the rain.
    • Took Phoebe to her piano lesson; more identify theft issues .
    • Off to my counseling appointment; sold my therapist a skirt .
    • Danielle called as we were leaving; hour-long FaceTime chat
    • Stopped for milk & eggs, and to make Lula bank deposit.
    • Back home; cleaned up breakfast/lunch mess; ran dishwasher.
    • Got Phoebe working on schoolwork, checked on TJ's.
    • Did FlyLady flings on the bathrooms & Danielle's ("guest") room.
    • TJ actually went upstairs and cleaned HIS room.
    • Collected upstairs trash & took a load to the curb.
    • Processed/put away yesterdays' laundry; should be good.
    • Distributed new insurance cards to all three cars.
    • Caught up on a few emails, texts, FB messages, etc.
    • Checked status of shipping supplies; will need more soon.
    • Emailed Danielle a schedule for who's where this summer.
    • Uploaded a bunch of pictures that were missing from FB sale.
    • Made pork stew in the Instant Pot. It's a favorite.
    • Emptied dishwasher; cleaned up all the meal prep mess.
    • Purged the overflowing magazine rack in the powder room.
    • Dinner. As a family. I'd say it was pleasant, but well...
    • Cleaned up dinner, loaded dishwasher, etc.
    • Dave headed out with Phoebe to go to dance class.
    • Did a little bit of online Lula work; more later.

    Up next:

    • TJ & I are going to watch West Wing now.
    • Work on changing passwords due to identity theft.
    • Help Phoebe clean her room after she showers.
    • Maybe read for a while; late FB work tonight for Lula.
    • Finish up business for the night, hopefully by 11:00 pm.
    • Color, tea, prayer and otherwise prep for bed!

And that's my day! TJ is waiting, so I guess I'd better get over there before he changes his mind!

April How exciting for April!!!! Good stuff!

Heather -- hurray about the class!!!

    Cari -- hurray for quiet!

    Here:
Jim and I went to visit his mom this afternoon. HEre's the update (I posted in the prayer room) Last night seemed dire, but today seems much better! She had a rough night, and she was SOUND asleep the whole time we were there -- she'd crack her eyes open if you called her name, but she'd immediately go back to sleep (which she needed). All the reports from the nurse that we heard were positive -- she's off the oxygen mask and just has the nose oxygen, her bp is doing better, she hasn't asked for pain meds, her breathing sounds better, and the C-Dif test came back negative They're talking about moving her to a regular room tomorrow, assuming all goes well tonight. They're going to do another chest x-ray in the morning, but as of right now, things seem like they're going in the right direction.

Based on that info, we are planning to go ahead with our trip.

?Heather -- she's had c-dif before, and I'm thankful that it hasn't turned into that at this point

I'm just so glad she seems to be on the upswing. Praying that continues!

Paige -- praying for your MIL and clear decision

Robin -- you always have such big & cool projects going on

Angela -- glad all was well after storms. I don't mind a storm but don't like tornado or high winds

Heather -- exciting times! You are doing great!

Jen -- YAY for skirt done! Lots of sewing going on!

Cindy -- exciting times for your girls

Cari -- hope you enjoyed the quiet!

    Today:
    • few minor cleaning things
    • bank
    • library
    • McDonald's -- met friends...drank a coke & visited
    • started project
    • fixed supper

Project -- dining room, bakers rack that holds tv, cookbooks and a TON of junk & dust
My clear dining table is covered again but hopefully will be cleared soon and the bakers rack will look better.

Supper -- it was just dh & me for supper. So I made some slaw, heated some leftover bbq & sat out chips & dip. Simple supper but dh was happy.

Heard from boys a few mins ago. They are in hotel room. Ready for shower and rest!!
Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative.. Think differently and positively.

Well, I enjoyed the quiet so much, I fell asleep . I've gotten a half-second wind, but if I don't get to load my two sales shortly, I'm just going to go to bed and deal with it in the morning. I am SO tired right now. And Dave has a guy from church who's a financial planner coming over in the morning so I need to be presentable relatively early. Sigh.

    Today's Accomplishments:

    • Worked on changing passwords. It's a SLOW process.
    • Phoebe came home from dance & showered. No room.
    • Sold, invoiced, packaged and shipped a purchase.
    • Did one of my party loads; other in the morning.
    • A bit of other FB online work. Enough for today, anyway.
    • Tidied the kitchen & downstairs; took more trash out.

Dave went to bed early, which puts a damper on my quiet time upstairs. But you'll have this. He was tired. I can get that.

Spent the evening working on setting up my store and for the third time in my 11 year blogging history, I am outsourcing the solution to a problem (I mean to say outsourcing beyond Dan's help). Thanks for all the encouragement. This is an exciting thing!

Talked with my dad- glad to have connected with him.

Dishwasher was loaded and started- more work needs to be done in the kitchen tomorrow

Ok...time for me to do a little reading to settle down.

    Have a great night!
