Yesterday I was blah & tired. Didn't accomplish much.
Had family get together at local pizza place for great nephews birthdays. That was nice...no cooking and hanging out with dh family.

    List:
    • laundry -- reg & sheets
    • clean fridge (spill)
    • deal with veggies -- given to us
    • cook sausage patties -- so dss can nuke for quick breakfast
    • figure out supper -- veggies??
    • general pick up
    • vacuum
    • sweep kitchen
    • sweep baths
    • dining room...dump & go spot
    • and it keeps going but probably ain't gonna happen

My house is a wreck and I am grumpy. I know grumpy is partly monthly stuff but messy house doesn't help. And honestly I don't want to clean. I would like a magic wand.
Yeah I know I am just being a big grump. I

    Have a good dah!

    Good morning everyone!

I am up and showered and saw Belle off to work, and I hung the lanterns on the chicken coop and checked out the garden and fed Keeper.

I will be out most of the day today. I have to pick up Mom's dog, take her to the vet, and then return her to Mom. I have already packed up a bunch of paperback mysteries and tootsie rolls to leave with Mom. After I drop Fender back with Mom, I will run home, pick up K, and head out to get my contacts adjusted. From there, K and I go for a session on casting and carving with her instructor. We will finish at about 3:30, drive home in rush hour traffic, prep dinner, and then that will be all.

Before I leave, I hope to spend some time on the phone getting our email issues resolved.

    Enjoy your day!

    Good morning,

We are in Illinois and hope to get home tonight. My dear friend Michelle passed away yesterday morning. I’m so sad that we didn’t make it home in time. She was doing a little better when we left, her numbers were good, but the cancer spread all over. She left behind her husband, four girls, a granddaughter, her mom, and siblings. Please pray we can be a support to them. Her dh emailed me and said they didn’t want us to find out on our trip . Makes me sad. I woke up this morning and remembered- can’t belive this happened.

Heather- hope appts go well and the trip.
Joelle- welcome home. Missed you here.
Michelle- hope your day brightens, friend. So sorry for your loss, too .

Robin- have a good visit with your mom.
Paige- glad you have a simple day.

    Good morning!

Heather, I hope the appointments go well!

Michelle, I completely understand! My house is a wreck, too. Just keep swimming!

    Paige, enjoy your light day!

Robin, I may need your advice...we got an old end table for ds to repaint as a fair entry....We've never done anything like this before!

Amy, I'm so sorry about your friend. Praying for all who love her!

We had a late night last night...we started ds's party around 7:00 and the kids did a photo scavenger hunt in our downtown area and then we had dinner and then the kids played in the fountains. It was fun, but we didn't get home until 11:30 and then I had to get the trash and recycling out and deal with ds's tie dye thing he did at the library and take a shower...so it was getting close to 1:00 before I got to bed.

    So far today:
*dealt with hacked credit card--our new ones should be here tomorrow
    *laundry--a couple of loads
*kids' bathroom--dd did this in exchange for me cleaning our the litter box, which is her job
    *hall bathroom
    *guest bathroom
    *lots of random picking up
    *dishwasher unloaded and reloaded
    *ironing

    The rest of today's plans...
*work on the kitchen more--and maybe the pantry? It really needs an overhaul and I haven't gotten up the energy...
    *take dd to sewing class
*take ds to volunteer at the library
    *Mardel--laminate ds's poster
    *record book work

Hopefully not a late night tonight!!

Have a great day today, friends!

    Good Afternoon Ladies,

I woke up with bad cramps and while I was still lying in bed decided to take the kids to the $1 movie today at Regal. We saw "The Peanuts Movie" which they had already seen, the other choice was "Sing" which we have also seen. A doesn't like "Sing" she thinks it is too sad.

Afterward, we went to Target. I wanted to get some 3-pronged folders and ended up buying other stuff too, of course.

Now we are home and the kids are making lunch. I would like to take a nap.

We have church at 6 and I need to get dinner finished early.

I'm not setting any big goals for my self today, it is just not happening.

    I'll check in later.

Angela hugs to you, too. Hope you feel better!

Robin -- good luck with all the errands.

Jen -- sorry about your credit card. I know that's a pain!

    Here:
    * just got back from Cale's mandolin lessons and running errands
    * started doing next year's math this morning but it must be done! I'm not intense on doing it daily, but we must get started!
    * friends coming over to swim about 230.

Going to make sloppy joes to put in the crockpot for supper.

Amy -- I am so sorry.

    Angela -- take it easy!!

Jen -- UGH credit card. Glad you got it taken care of. Sounds like the party was loads of fun!

Robin -- hope your day of running around goes smoothly.

Paige -- YAY for swim time!!

Heather -- hope appointments go well

    So far:
    • load reg laundry complete
    • my bed stripped & sheets washed & drying
    • boys beds stripped & sheets washing
    • caught up on tv show
    • washed dishes
    • cleaned out fridge..wiped down all shelves. Consolidated pickles...several jars of same kind open...WHY???
    • shucked corn for tonight supper
    • cut up cucumbers -- for snacking & part of supper
    • wiped down 1 bathroom and spot mopped floor
    • took stuff to mama

Car left his backpack in Gramps truck Monday. Had his phone charger & headphones in it. He was ready to get them back.

Someone had given dh a bag of yellow squash & cucumbers. So I fixed mama a bag with some of each and got her a rack of ribs from freezer. Dh brought some home (cooked) on 4th and I tossed in freezer.

I didn't get out at mama's. I was sweaty and icky.

Ok well now I just got back from running a coke to my friend. She was texting with me and another friend nd mentioned being thirsty. She is at dance with her girls. So ds2 & I went to corner store, got her a drink & delivered it. She was happy!!
