    Default Tuesday DECLUTTERING!

This Week's Challenge: Stubborn places- let's make an impact on areas that are trouble spots in our homes! Tell us what you do this week!

    School Challenge: School flat surfaces

Inspiring Thought: Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. - CS Lewis

    For me today:
    • PTE
    • school
    • school planning
    • blog work- including a webinar at noon
    • studio time
    • vacuum the first floor
    • amazon order- a probiotic for one
    • credit union- meet up with our group treasurer
    • vote!
    • more blog photos- I need to make a list of what I want though...
    • work in the kitchen- make food

It's raining and blowing this morning, so I'm putting the grocery store off for another day. Seems to me that it's not worth getting wet and all the groceries wet when I can go tomorrow in the sun. We should see sun by the end of today, so that will be nice. And, it's going to be 62*. Interesting for November.

I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday!

    Hey Ladies,
I thought I posted yesterday, but now I don't see it - stink!
    Here is my lacking recreation....

Thanks for the Monday encouragement. The day did improve, thankfully! Apparently the body part that impaled the wall was a right butt-cheek.

HW - Yes, I noted the irony of going from reading the Bible to yelling at the kids.

Robin - I agree with Jekka, maybe you can buy some ascent pieces or accessories that pop with color!

Highlights from yesterday: school, laundry, polished (almost) all of the stainless steel in the kitchen. I need to get a ladder and clean the hood.

CH1: This will probably the hood over the range.
    CH2: Sounds good.
IT: I have always liked that quote!

    so far:
    bible reading

    up next:
    start laundry
    finish school lists
    table time

    rest of the day:
    full school day
    more laundry
    meal plan

monthly training/ encouragement at church - they feed us!

    Good morning, all

Angela -- that SO happens to me -- we finish a Bible study and then BOOM, something happens that causes a ruckus!

Heather -- saw your high school post yesterday

-- yesterday was a nice day I went to the dentist -- he said all is well, just keep the final crown appointment tomorrow Went to visit Jim's mom. She was thrilled. She's in the bed, though, with another sore and has a raspy cough (not good). But she was SO happy to see us in the middle of the day Ate lunch out. Came home to just relax as a family.
    -- Today:
    -- about to go vote
    - laundry's moving
    -- school
-- finish up ladies' consignment stuff
-- take that to town after an early lunch
    -- deliver some scholastic stuff
-- more school when we get home, I'm sure
-- leftover soup for supper -- maybe someone will make some biscuits

Not much on there, but we need to focus on the things that ARE on there

    Good morning!

Heather, waiting until tomorrow sounds smart!

Angela, I'm glad the day improved. This made me laugh.

    *print and mark IEW paper
*drop dd at her friend's house--she'll play there until PE and then they'll bring her home after that
    *trash/recycling out
*sign language class--and I need to review the homework before then, too!

Morning. It's only 9:30 and I am wiped!

    -barn chores done
-watered cow, this is what wiped me out. My stupid guineas have been roosting on the edge of the water tub, and defecating into it. I had to tip it over to empty and clean it. Considering it had probably 30 gallons in it, not an easy task. Then dh bought new hoses, which meant opening packages and running them down and one was just a tangled mess right out of the box. This required walking back and forth to barn several times, which doesn't sound too bad but it's about 300 feet and I was dressed for much colder weather, so imagine a smaller version of the StayPuft Marshmallow man. Between boots and insulated outerwear, it had to be another 15lbs. I'm whiny.
-breakfast, cold steel cut oats but the time I got in. Sigh...
-just did some assignments for Bekah for Duolingo
    -Bekah is doing school
    -Js are supposed to be
-I need a shower, preferably a long one
    -doing breakfast for lunch today
    -Bekah has dance
-I probably need stuff from Walmart, ugh
    -feed store
    -pick up Bekah
    -evening chores
    -bedtime! yay!

I need hay, but it's raining. Might have to pick up a small bale at feed store. Have a great one!

    Good morning!

It's beautiful here today, though cold. It was 27 when I was seeing Belle off to work.

My plan for today is table time, then cleaning. Then hopefully Costco while the kids do their individual school. Boyo's soccer party is tonight. Oh, and I need to make some phone calls.

I need to make another soup; I had planned for leftovers from the one I made yesterday, but it's gone. It was a good recipe, though; first time we'd used it. It's a keeper. It was Cheeseburger Soup. I actually followed the recipe except I added about 1/3 chopped pickles at the end. Oh, and instead of stirring the cheese in, I sprinkled it on top.

Not a lot on the list, but that little word 'cleaning' will be lots of hours all week.

Heather, I agree. Wet weather is for staying home.

    Angela, your impaled wall!

Paige, I'm glad you got to see Jim's mom.

Shay, that would wear me out, too!

    Have a great day, friends!

Good morning, ladies! My last few days have been whirlwinds, but here I am.

Heather, it sounds like we have the same weather today; however, I must go to the grocery store today - there's no putting it off. Tomorrow, we'll be at the hospital all day, so that's that.

Shay, I hope you got your nice, long, well-deserved shower!

This morning, I've already managed a phone call to the insurance company. I'm having an upper endoscopy, and the facility requires that you call your insurance company to confirm coverage and turn in documentation of said call on the day of your procedure.

Here's the rest of my day:
    - Dentist at 11:30. I'm in the midst of a complicated preparation for a crown, which included gum surgery two weeks ago. Today is my second post-op visit. Run Erin to school first.
    - Make a tuition payment for Erin and call the college's business office.
    - Grocery store
    - Figure out something for dinner, which I need to prepare ahead of time because I have tutoring sessions at 4:00 and 6:30 (two hours each).
    - Text the grandmother of one of my students to reschedule his Thursday session.
    - Grade papers for my English classes
    - Do some writing and editing on two different projects

Hope you all have a great day!

Heather - putting off grocery shopping sounds like a good idea

    Angela -- Yay no cooking!

Paige - glad dentist said ok and y'all got to visit MIL

Jen -- are you and both kids doing sign language class?

Shay - you are not whiny! I am worn out reading what you did

Anjie - Yikes on dr & dentist. Hope everything goes well

Not moving to fast this morning. I feel ok except for my ear. It is stopped up. I can get it to pop and kinda hear for a few seconds but then it goes back to muffled.

Today is about schoolwork and general picking up.

This evening I am heading out with a wonderful group of ladies for a Moms night out. We are going to meet up then head to city about hour from here. Eat and do a little shopping/looking. Just fun stuff.

Please say a prayer that my ear will open up before this evening. I want to enjoy and HEAR my friends.

    Have a GREAT day!!
Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative.. Think differently and positively.

    Quick check in:
    • got assignment books and my planner ready for the day
    • work drop
    • took out some meat to thaw- based on no store today
    • had dishwasher unloaded
    • took care of some kitchen items- I left to be cleaned today
    • finished up some blog class homework
    • arranged to meet the treasurer today- now 2pm
    • took my weekly blog class- started to implement strategies
    • started today's laundry- towels
    • switched laundry- and started kitchen towels
    • tweaked my high school landing page- some more and I'm not finished. I have to add more content links to the page.

    That might be about it.

Paige- that's great news about your tooth!
