We just got back from the State park and it was lovely! Seriously, just what I needed and it was probably good for the kids too
We had a nice hike, the kids had fun, and we had a great chat.

Now, we are headed to church.

Jekka- Was it a leak in the tank? Or crazy usage from the cold?

Michelle- Well done! That's a lot of work on your list.

AR- Sitting out on the POH for a while yesterday totally hit the spot for me. And I was out there before the neighbors got home from school.

    Since earlier:
    • enjoyed the last half hour of play time at the museum
    • headed out and prepped for the ride home- I had brought snacks and I got my navigation going on my phone
    • rode out of the city in rush hour traffic and on home
    • told R we were leaving and she had stayed on campus for sign language choir
    • picked her up on our way through to home
    • made dinner
    • dh loaded the dishwasher and started it
    • relaxed- I'm beat!

Now I'm sitting at my desk with my feet on the warming mat and a warm rice sock currently on my lap but may move to my back while I sit in my desk chair. Michelle- If you sit at your table doing pictures, you might like this mat under that table when you use it. It'll keep you warm in general even if you are wearing shoes and if you take them off your stocking feet will love the heat.

I still need to post in that book club group, but that will be low key and quick this time. AR- I haven't started posting really or promoted the one for my blog.

ladies! I know I’ve been MIA for awhile. I’m in Thailand at a conference for pastors of international churches and those in church ministries. It’s been fun connecting with some old friends from the Philippines, other missionary friends in Japan and meeting new people and exchanging ideas. I even met one of the parents of an intern we had last summer.

It’s also been great having nights with just my husband and no kids. We left the kids with Chelsea. This is our first time leaving the kids with anyone other than grandparents. So far it’s going well. We’ll be headed home tomorrow.

Paige, it does seem like you guys have had a lot of illness lately! Praying you all get well and stay well!
    Robin, so sorry!
    Angela, I love state parks.
    Jekka, hooray for contentment!
Heather, I hope the appointment went well.
