    Default hymn suggestions?

I posted something similar on the B4 board, but anyway ...

I made a list of hymns to go with each book in Vols 1 and 2. My parents recorded them for me, with Daddy singing and Mama playing. I think the list might be in the archives somewhere...

This year we will be working out of volumes 3 and 4.

What suggestions of hymns do you have for the books in those volumes?

    Thanks!

I couldn't find your hymn suggestions for Vol 1 &2 in the Archives, do you still have that list on your PC?

Ah ha! Here http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/oCO5RpE...FIAR-hymns.txt is the link for the volume 1 titles; I have the vol 2 titles written in my manual. Let me know if you want a copy.

Wow, I remember this thread and Robin's hymn project! It would be great to access the list again, even though we no longer are doing FIAR. Would be a wonderful addition to the manuals and books I'm saving for my daughter.

Here is my post on volume 1:

    FIAR Volume I Hymn List
    compiled by Robin in Colorado
Notes from Robin: You can find the tunes and lyrics for all but two at www.cyberhymnal.org . I got
these out of a very old Broadman hymnal.

What I did with them: We worked on learning the hymn during the week we did the corresponding book.
Nothing too serious. Then... I sent the list to my parents. My mom played the piano and my dad sang, one verse only,
onto cassette. I am using these during quiet time, both during school and at other times, to help
    the girls memorize them.
